Tic Tac Robot
A downloadable game for Windows
Tic Tac Robot
You wake up in a small room without any memory of what happened. A little robot is in front of you telling you that he just saved you and your friend. As exchange of the effort for saving you, he wants to play tic tac toe with you and he will let you go when you will one game.
If Tic Tac Toe is a solved game and only the player starting can win, the little robot will do everything he can to never let you win.
The game is story-driven, so please, play with the sound, so you can listen the characters talking to each other, as I didn't have time to add subtitles.
Controls:
- Space to start or replay a game
- Mouse to place X or O
This game was made for the jam AI and Games 2021(https://itch.io/jam/aiandgames-2021) so here are the AI / procedural elements :
- All the animations of the robots are code based
- The arm is a mesh generated by script
- The AI to play as opponent against you
- Animation of the human in water is procedural
As the game is a story driven puzzle game, you may feel blocked, so here is a full video gameplay of the game, so you can see the end of the game if you are blocked : Tic Tac Robot - Full Gameplay - YouTube

Loved this game. I wanted to beat this robot so bad.
That was bullsh*t. So good!
"Game over!
You shouldn't have won the game, it was not supposed to be possible. Maybe a bug occured. Try again and see the real story."
Apparently I'm so good I broke the game =p I'm not 100% certain if the AI had a possible move when I won, it's in the last phase I managed to survive long enough that it'd give me a win. I was really proud of myself for pulling that off!
